1970s
In 1978, our two-bay shop in Colorado Springs began with a simple idea — provide honest, high-quality service for Volkswagen and Volvo vehicles. We built our reputation on specialized knowledge, written estimates, and standing behind our work.
1980s
Through the 1980s, Import Specialty Auto grew alongside the Colorado Springs community. Our import focus remained at the center of the shop as vehicles, tools, and service needs continued to evolve.
1990s–2010s
As vehicles evolved, so did we. New technology, new models, and new challenges — but the same commitment to doing the job right. Our specialized tools and experience grew while our core values stayed the same.
Today
Nearly 50 years later, Import Specialty Auto remains family-owned and serves drivers throughout Colorado Springs and the surrounding area. While our tools and equipment have changed, our commitment has not — expert service, honest communication, and long-term relationships.
