Mercedes-Benz Transmission Repair & Service in Colorado Springs

722.9 service the right way — pan, conductor plate, and the correct ATF.

Mercedes 722.9 (7G-Tronic) is a great transmission when serviced. When neglected, it fails predictably: harsh shifts, limp-mode, P0715, and eventually a conductor plate or valve body. We service these on XENTRY with the correct MB 236.15 ATF and we don't substitute generic fluid.

Every 722.9 fluid service includes the pan, filter, and a level set by transmission temperature — not a dipstick guess. We can also replace the conductor plate, lead frame seal, and torque converter if diagnostics call for it.

What we do on every Mercedes-Benz transmission repair & service

  • Drop the pan, replace the internal filter and pan gasket
  • Refill with MB 236.15 spec ATF
  • Set fluid level via XENTRY at the correct 40°C window
  • Scan for stored codes and clear adaptation if appropriate
  • Road test through all gears for clean shift quality

Common Mercedes-Benz issues we see

  • Conductor plate failure (P0715, erratic shifting)
  • Lead frame seal leak letting ATF into the wiring harness
  • 13-pin connector contamination causing intermittent faults
  • Torque converter shudder on light load
