If you own a 957 or early 958 Cayenne V8, your plastic coolant pipes under the intake manifold are on borrowed time. When they fail they dump coolant in seconds — often with no warning until the engine is already cooked. We replace them with aluminum upgrade pipes and we never put plastic back in.
While we're in there we replace the water pump and thermostat as preventive maintenance — the labor overlap is nearly total.
