FAQ

Subaru Repair — Common Questions

On the EJ25 (most 2000–2011 Outback/Forester/Legacy), yes — it's a known external coolant leak. We replace with updated multi-layer steel gaskets and machine the head surface. Newer FB-series engines do not have this issue.
