EJ25 Outbacks (pre-2013) have a well-known external head gasket leak between the head and block — coolant or oil weeping at the heads. We do the job with OEM MLS head gaskets, machined heads, new head bolts, and a fresh timing belt kit since the front of the engine is already off.

FB25 Outbacks have a different problem: oil consumption from worn piston rings. We diagnose with a measured consumption test before recommending engine teardown — we won't sell you a job you don't need.
